New Underwear Line Piss & Vinegar... The Brits Know How The Name Em'
Jason Sutherland, the man who helped launch the men's fun-derwear industry in 2003 with the Ginch Gonch underwear line, announced today that he has created a new brand of cheeky gear for men. Piss & Vinegar - British slang for living young at heart - is designed for the bold guy who appreciates what life has to offer and works hard to live it to its fullest. In other words: Piss & Vinegar is for men who grab life by the balls. In its campaign, the brand playfully asks men "you think you have enough?"; it's a double entendre referring to a guy's fortitude to compete and his ability to fill his briefs. Piss & Vinegar is available now in major department stores, select independent retailers and online at www.PissVinegar.com.
Made from a breathable, body-conforming stretch fabric (94% Su Pima cotton/6% Lycra), the first collection from Piss & Vinegar will be the "I Love..." line including the controversial 'I Love Jesus' underwear that are proving to be a holiday favorite. The briefs feature the image of Jesus Christ on the front and the words "Jesus Loves Me" on the rear. Designs are available in a brief, boxer brief, low rise brief, and jock strap and all include the signature 1 1/4 inch microfiber elastic logo waistband and bold scripted Piss & Vinegar logo.
"We chose to introduce 'I Love...' with Jesus and Buddha because whether or not guys subscribe to their doctrines, there is no denying that each man became an icon by living his life to the fullest and from the heart," said Jason Sutherland at this morning's announcement.
Mr. Sutherland chose to take a leap of faith and live life from his heart when earlier this year, he left the successful brand he founded to launch his new line. "It's important to shake things up every once in a while," he explained. "It's what keeps life interesting."
Mr. Sutherland looks forward to further shaking things up this Valentine's Day when Piss & Vinegar unleashes the 'I Love Girls' briefs for men, and the "I Love Boys" briefs - also for men.
"When living life with Piss & Vinegar," concluded Sutherland, "it doesn't matter who you love, only that you love with everything you've got."

Jockey Finds That Giving Underwear Is No Longer Taboo
All I want for Christmas is ... underwear? A new survey by Jockey International, Inc. reveals a surprising holiday gift that millions of Americans ought to add to their wish list. According to the national poll, 43 percent of Americans report that they personally need an "underwear overhaul" this holiday season, more than anyone else on their shopping list. Also, 21 percent think their significant other needs new skivvies to freshen up the not-so-better half of their underwear drawer.
It appears that Americans' unmentionables have become just that. According to a previous Jockey survey, more than a quarter of Americans own underwear five or more years old, and 79 percent have underwear that is tattered, discolored or stained.* Part of the problem seems to be consumers' reluctance to part with their intimates. Thirty-two percent of Americans refuse to throw away their old, tattered underwear until they receive new, replacement pairs. So stuff those stockings with some new skivvies!

Megan Fox Replaces Posh in Armani Ads
With Victoria Beckham saying no more to Armani, Megan Fox will be taking her place a as the latest face of Armani lingerie. The Jennifer's Body and Transformers star will be shown in the lingerie ads around January, as well as Armani's luxury jean ads.
With Posh gone, her husband David Beckham will be replaced as well by 24-year old Real Madrid soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo. Unlike Victoria and David, Megan and Cristiano will not be in the ads together.
Victoria is still very happy about her decision, she felt her stomach was not right for the constant skin exposure and that it showed the fact that she had 3 kids. A source was quoted saying that Victoria is thankful that the Armani team did some great touch ups and reworking lighting to make her stomach look better.

Glow In The Dark Undies....
Can you imagine being in the bedroom with the lights off with your significant other and all of a sudden her underwear starts to glow?
That's the idea behind the new glow and the dark lingerie by Australian Jan Hawley, inspired by the imaginations of her grown-up sons. The lingerie is being sold around the world, including the US and Europe.
Here's what she had to say:
"In this range the underwear is much smaller and sexier. We've called it the Boudoir collection because it's strictly for the bedroom after dark.
"When the lights go out, the lace on the bra and knickers glow beautifully, defining the tiny shapes of the micro G-string, bikini or triangle bra."
"When we launched the company two years ago, it was to wear during the day and and at work."
"This collection is easy to whip on, but even easier to whip off."
"The glow is to inject some fun into the bedroom. It's quirky and has novelty value and men especially like it."
"After the success of the original collection, my sons started taking a keen interest."
"I took their ideas on board and now we seem to have very tiny knickers and bras that show a lot of cleavage!"
"But at the heart of the collection, it's still a bit of a giggle."
The underwear is now being sold around the world, including America and several countries in Europe."
"The success we've had has been remarkable. I started out with my husband James two years ago in a remote part of Australia and now it's a multinational business that shows no sign of stopping."
"We were moonlighting to begin with, coming up with designs across the dinner table after working a full day. Now this is our full time business."
"I have to laugh discussing knickers and bras with my sons and asking them what they like and think looks good. It's hilarious. But hopefully the fun we are having making it all is still coming through in the designs."
"I can only say its been an illuminating experience from beginning to end."

Help Cumberland Make A Bust
Cumberland County detectives found a trailer full of stolen women's lingerie Thursday and connected it to a 2005 theft.
A shipping trailer filled with 287 cartons of Maidenform brassieres was stolen from the company's Fayetteville plant four years ago. The merchandise was valued at about $400,000, authorities said.
Maidenform officials recently notified Cumberland County authorities that someone was trying to sell the stolen undergarments on the Craigslist Web site.
"Maidenform normally sells cartons to the retail stores, so when you have a private citizen that's selling cartons of the bras, that's going to send a red flag," said Detective Bobby Jeffers of the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office.
Investigators were able to track the merchandise to a trailer – not the Maidenform shipping trailer – parked along Mabe Road, an undeveloped area near Parkton. They recovered 176 cartons of bras, Jeffers said.
Authorities are still trying to determine who is responsible for the theft and the subsequent attempt at selling the merchandise online.
Jeffers said authorities don't plan to prosecute anyone who bought one of the bras.
"When you buy things, even though they're stolen, (if you're) purchasing them in good faith, we're not going to hold people accountable," he said.
Anyone with information about the theft or online posting is asked to call the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office at 910-323-1500 or call in an anonymous tip to 910-484-8477.
