The 411 on Heigl’s Underwear in The Ugly Truth

For those who have already seen Katherine Heigl’s new movie, The Ugly Truth, I’m sure you were all left wondering what was with her vibrating panties.

Well, after some online research, I’ve learned that not only are those painties real, they work, too!

Katherien Heigl playes a tight, successful television producer who challenges her TV commentator (Gerard Butler), spinning together humor and love in this romantic comedy.

In one scene, Heigl is at a business dinner in a restaurant when she finds herself being sexually aroused by a pair of remote-controlled lacy underwear.

Eonline dug up a few sexperts and found some satisfyingly sweet facts about the trick underwear.

“It’s a fun secret that people don’t talk about,” Kristen Tribby, education and marketing director of L.A.’s celebrity sex shop, Pleasure Chest, told E!. “They are good for things like boring holiday parties. It’s a great thing for a couple in a playful spirit.”

Though, the underwear isn’t to be toyed with in a restaurant; it actually makes quite a bit of noise—with no help from you. Instead of trying to be discrete in your everyday book store or coffee shop. Pick something energizing, like an NBA basketball game. Or, Jacqueline Deidun, manager of Lover’s lane in Sterling Heights, Mich., suggests a nightclub.

“You can be on the dance floor and your man can be at the bar,” Deidun said.
